Our in house tests show an average of 16 minutes to prep the lens with sand paper. If you are not a professional and don’t know when to stop, you could damage the light, and the surrounding area . In most of the systems a solvent based prep or bonding chemical is used. We use only non-volatile, non-flammable, environmentally friendly products. Because of their water base, our products require no special storage containers, such as fire cabinets or EPA approved spill containments.

To the best of our knowledge all other lens renewal system uses an epoxy or clear coat type finish for the last step. We chose not to do this and developed our conditioner. Epoxy or clear coat type application is very tricky . If it’s to hot it will dry to fast and leave marks, if it’s to damp or cold it will likely cloud and might not dry properly. This step must be applied with care and diligence, One spill or drip on the body of the vehicle and problems starts.
